April 22 marks the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Earth
Day was originally intended to inspire awareness and appreciation
for the environment. But over the past few decades, weve
come to understand how crucial it is to move beyond awareness
and appreciation into responsible, meaningful action to
protect the environment.
As a company, as communities, and as individuals, we
all have a duty to act.
At Tupperware Brands, our practices and policies around
the world support our commitment to sustainability and
environmental responsibility.
Beyond these, though, were in a unique position to have
an even wider impact through our 2.4 million sales force
members around the globe, our environmentally friendly
products and our sustainable manufacturing practices.
We know, for instance, that a simple change from using
a disposable water bottle every day to a Tupperware durable
drinking containers can reduce our landfills and our Tupperware
food preservation containers cut back on greenhouse emissions.
Its the big and seemingly little things that add up.
Every action matters. And we can feel confident that our
actions - and our products - are good for the earth every
day.
What we do today matters tomorrow!
